Professional Summary

Jennifer Kuspira (JennyQ), is an artist and author. She is a creative soul who has always been enthralled with a good story, creativity and poetic expression.  Most recently, she has been commissioned to provide and display a collection of her art at La Vieille Banque, a fine Italian restaurant located in Dorval Quebec.  Her first children’s book Sweet Treat: A Willy Wuz Adventure was published in 2019.  She is a contributor to the anthology of short stories, poetry and prose called Empowered Hearts (2017).

Early in her career, JennyQ worked in television as a freelance script, production, and camera assistant as well as a talent wrangler with various production companies including Radke Films, Shaftesbury Films and YTV.  She is a devoted Developmental Services worker with Kids Country Club, a respite home for medically fragile children.

Her formal education includes a specialty program she attended at H.B. Beal in London, Ontario (1991-1992), for broadcasting.  There she learned the art of editing video and audio to create short pieces and how to present herself in front of the camera. She earned a combined honours degree in Drama and Communication Studies at the University of Windsor (1997).  Many of her current skills and art forms are self-taught and evolve from her mosaic of experience, knowledge, curiosity, creativity and imagination.

JennyQ spends her spare time boxing to stay fit, listening to music (loves Jazz), writes and shares stories at various storytelling events to connect with her community.
